Faith at Grit + Grace
A Christ-centered environment where athletes grow in skill, character, and faith — at their own pace.
We pray together, encourage Christian values, and invite families into community — with full freedom to sit out of anything you’re not comfortable with.
How Faith Shows Up Here
We’re up-front that Grit + Grace is a Christian, faith-based program — but never pushy.
Prayer & Huddles
We often open or close with a short prayer or huddle thought. Athletes are always welcome to sit out or simply listen — no one is singled out.
Christian Values in Action
- Respect for coaches, refs, and teammates.
- Playing hard and fair — even when no one is watching.
- Encouraging the kid who just missed the shot.
Community Beyond the Court
We’ll periodically share youth group nights, family events, and small group opportunities for those who want to plug in more deeply. Participation is always voluntary.
We’re happy to talk one-on-one if you have questions about how faith is handled in sessions or what to expect for your athlete.

Verses We Come Back To
A few passages we lean on for courage, peace, and perspective in sports and life.
Philippians 4:6–7
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God…”
2 Timothy 1:7
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.”
Isaiah 40:31
“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles…”
Faith & Mental Health
Sports and school can be stressful. If your family is navigating anxiety, depression, financial strain, or other challenges, we always recommend talking with a licensed professional and trusted local services — and we’re glad to point you toward Christ-centered support.
