Getting Started

What ages do you train?

Current basketball skills & conditioning sessions are designed for athletes in grades 3–12. We group by age/grade bands (3–5, 6–8, 9–12) so drills and pace are age-appropriate.

Does my athlete need prior basketball experience?

No. We work with a mix of beginners, developing players, and advanced players. Athletes are grouped and challenged at their level so everyone gets quality reps.

Where are sessions held?

Sessions currently run at the Oak Lawn Pavilion – Court 4. Full location details are included in your confirmation email and on the Sessions & Schedule page.

What should my athlete bring?

Please bring court shoes, a water bottle, and an optional personal basketball with your name on it. We have balls available, but some athletes prefer their own.

Can parents stay and watch?

Yes. Parents/guardians are welcome to quietly observe from the designated viewing area as long as it doesn’t interfere with the session.

Credits, Packs & Scheduling

How do training credits work?

Each drop-in or pack you purchase on the Pricing & Packs page adds a set number of training credits to your account. One reserved session = one credit used.

How do I purchase a drop-in or pack?

Go to the Pricing & Packs page and choose a Drop-In, 4-Pack, or 8-Pack. Checkout is handled securely through Stripe. After purchase, you can log in and use your credits to reserve specific dates.

Where can I see my remaining credits?

Visit the My Account page and log in with your parent email. You’ll see your current balance of training credits plus links to buy more if needed.

How do I reserve a specific session date?

After purchasing a pack and logging in, go to the Sessions & Schedule page. Each open session will show a “Reserve spot (uses 1 credit)” button. When you reserve, one credit is deducted and your athlete is added to that session’s roster.

Is the first session really free?

Yes. New athletes can attend their first session free. If you continue, you can purchase a drop-in or pack to keep training.

Refunds, Make-Ups & Safety

What is your refund or make-up policy?

Drop-ins are generally refundable up to 24 hours before a session. Pack sessions can often be rolled to a future date within the current season, depending on space. See the Refunds and Waiver & Policies pages for full details.

What if a session is canceled (weather, facility issue, etc.)?

If we need to cancel a session, we’ll notify parents by email and text (if provided). The credit for that date will be returned to your account and we’ll share options for a make-up.

Who runs the sessions? Are coaches certified?

Sessions are led by a NAYS-certified coach with CPR/First Aid training. We focus on fundamentals, movement quality, and character-building in a positive, structured environment.

How do I update emergency contact info or special notes?

You can share updates (injuries, medical notes, goals, etc.) when you register for a session and anytime by replying to your confirmation email or using the Contact page.
